Freeze time. (Part one)

Hi guys, it's been so long that I wrote a blog entry, and I'm feeling guilty already so here I am again. So today I'll be talking about a topic which many people love and kind of dwell into because you know, who doesn't love shoes in mid air or jumpshots right? So yes that's kind of what I'm going to show you today.

So here we have shoes in freezed motion (shot at high shutter speeds eg. 4000). Hope you enjoy this because these kind of shots are becoming more popular.

First up we have Rifdih and his shoe - Adidas Superstar. A very simple shoe, no fussy or intricate designs, just plain black on white colors. Black and white, that is another popular thing in the world currently too.

So here's Fathoni with his - Nike Flyknit Racer. This is the shoe in the Oreo/Volt colorway and it is looking dammmmmn fine. This was shot at a rooftop in town, one of the very very mainstream ones.

Here he is again with the same pair, but this was taken on the day that he collected it from the seller, and he really looked so genuinely happy with it. Oh, I was the one who poisoned him to start buying flyknits guys, hahaha!

So here's Glendon with his - New Balance x Ronnie Fieg 530 "Central Park". Very hard to come by especially in sunny Singapore, and he got his hands on a pair, so jealous hahaha. One of the sickest pairs I've seen personally, and it kind of looks like Iron Man sneakers too, don't you think so?
So here's my good friend Aniq with a mixture of two sneakers - both Flyknit Racers. The left is the "Lucid Green" and the right is "Oreo/Volt". This was an experimental shot and it kind of turned out nice so I decided to keep it. And thanks for lending me your soccer boots, nitrocharge and predator.

So here's Aniq again with his - Adipure 11 pro. Launch colorway. This is the latest version of the 11 pro silo, and I have to say these bad boys have to be the most comfortable out of the rest of the adipures! It looks sick with the color, and the design is also spot on. The leather is amazing.

And finally myself with my own pair of - Nike Flyknit Trainers. Multicolor colorway. One of the most hyped and revered colors in the sneaker game, and I didn't regret buying them. I have people breaking necks in school just to see this, I'm sorry guys, not on purpose. Nike did a very good job on these. Just a suggestion Nike, why don't you guys multicolor the magista? Pretty sure that will sell out pretty fast. (Just an opinion hehe)

Have more shots like this but can't seem to remember where I put them. (Yes I ain't good at organizing stuff) But I mean it's kinda pleasing to the eyes because our eyes aren't cameras that can slow down motion and sort of freeze time so I hope you liked the shots as much as I loved taking and creating them. So that's volume one of "Freeze Time". Will continue tomorrow when I'm not feeling tired hopefully. Hope you enjoyed what you see! Stay awesome guys.

SAApparel.

Hey there guys! Well it took some time for me to update my blog and here I am again! I always update my blog every week but this time it took me a while because I literally had nothing to write about. (all lies)

So anyways, whenever I have a new blog entry, it would be something new. And yes, this is something really new. SAApparels. The owners of this clothing/apparel line is both my good buddies, Sathiyah and Asyraf. Really glad to have made friends with them in secondary school because we all kinda grew up learning soccer together. But without further ado, let's talk about what happened.

The shoot started off at Haji Lane, near the Sultan Mosque area, in a you know, lane. A closed kind of small road which was cramp and we just did some product shots and also some lookbook-ish shots. Altogether we had 5 models, three girls and two guys. Salman, Malek, Haryani, Elly and Hazyra.

Here's a picture of them :

Elly, Malik, Haryani, Salman, Hazyra.
Taken at along the waters of Singapore River, very close to the Esplanade.

So here they are individually :

Elly. One of the most cheerful people I know personally. Loves to have fun and also enjoys time spent with her friends. One of the cutest girls I know too hahaha!

Hazyra. She says she doesn't model but does otherwise. Her posing and skills are that of a freelance model who you can call any time to pose for you! She's a great girl, very friendly as well! See you soon!

Salman, has one of the most fiercest looks in the bunch. If he does this kind of face, sometimes you don't even know whether he's angry or just playing around. Another one who grew up playing soccer with me in secondary school too.

Malik, someone who I don't know personally but all I can say is that he looks like Salman's long lost twin. So much resemblance!

Lastly, Haryani. One of the girls who was very close to me during secondary one and two. She used to look very nerdy with those round specs but look at her now, all grown up and so beautiful. One of the prettiest girls I personally know and admire.

So there you have it, the 5 models and the ones who were involved in the product shoot for SAApparels newest and latest T-shirt, and also cap. (not pictured here) Sorry if I didn't type very long and storytelling, it's because I'm busy admiring my Sweets Homegrown kendama which I just bought for $114.90. Super stoked!

As always, stay awesome guys and have a nice day!

Kendamas on a whole new level.

So here I am again, and I'll be reposting this entry because Malcolm has some issues with what was going on in the previous (deleted) entry. Sorry dude, my bad. Anyways! I'm back again with the same shit, all about damas.

I love kendamas to be honest. I have 11 at home and I feel like the number will continue to increase over time. I currently own five KROM kendamas, six KendamaUSA kendamas, and my very first kendama ever, Sweets Natty.

It's quite a journey for me playing kendama, I have progressed so much I didn't bother to look back at what I would have achieved without kendama. This "toy" is actually a remarkable thing in my life. I only have the "ASAP" gang to thank for introducing me to this amazing thing.

Anyways without further ado, let me introduce to you two people (no pictures of them) , Malcolm and KC. Both Singaporeans, but KC stays and studies in the USA. (lucky kid hahaha)

As you will see down below, the kendamas are hand painted by them and they are seriously amazing. I couldn't stop staring when Malcolm brought the first prototype to Spinworkx and he now has a second one.

Here you go, enjoy!

Malcolm's. I dubbed it the "Leopard Galaxy" Ozora kendama. Imagine if this were to be selling at JKA's website, it would be super dope!! So nice, so amazing, can't wait to see more work from this talented guy who shreds yoyo.

KC's take on his own personalized kendama. Having experience from painting model kits of Gundam, you can clearly see why it is damn nice. The camo is a pleasant sight to the eyes, really. Can't take my eyes off it. Would be the first guy to buy this if he ever sells it.

Balance! Actually no, just cup on cup action. Four cups, two tamas. Coming soon to theatres near you.

Last but not least a close up look on both tamas by both! Malcolm's galaxy tama is definitely something to always look at, without a doubt. KC has opted for the more natural look to blend in with the camo pattern on his ken. Camouflage is actually best suited to the nature, as we may all know.

Okay so that's it! My feature of Malcolm's and KC's personalized kendamas which are really awesome! If they ever open a business I would definitely be a customer. Cheers to both of you for being a good sport and letting me take the pictures of your kendamas.

Anyways that's all I have for you. Hope you enjoyed the read and see you soon in my next entry! Have a nice day and stay awesome guys.
